Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support in the development and implementation of technical policy, processes, and guidance needed to support NAVSEA In-service projects.
- Interfaces with NAVSEA Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Engineering ADPM and the MSD NAVSEA In-service Team Lead to provide technical support, status updates, and requirements for out-year planning.
- Assists the MSD NAVSEA In-service Team Lead with responsibilities for management and oversight of In-service tasking.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates TMDE measurement requirement support elements to assure test equipment performance, equipment compatibility, and measurement requirement traceability.
- Performs CMRS reviews and provides guidance and training to engineers and others on CMRS requirements.
- Assigns, monitors and reports on tasks relating to the import, review, and resolution of Calibration Problem Reports (CPRs) as the NAVSEA CPR Gatekeeper.
- Performs assessments of the Instrument Calibration Procedure process to determine inefficiencies and devise strategies for measurable performance gains in on-time delivery and improvements in quality.
